Plane Washes

As a way to raise money to cover our flying time, we hold an annual plane wash for our sponsor Windy City Aviation.  The Post gathers to put in a little elbow grease to clean and wash their planes.  In return, we gain a credit towards the flying time we use during the year.  This event is usually alot of fun and we get to spend time working in and around real airplanes.  We usually hold the event on the Monday of the Columbus Day Holiday in October.  That way we get to spend the entire day working on the planes on a day when most of our High School age members have the day off of school.
